Description: In an interaction with students during the annual function of St. Fidelis School in Aligarh, Indian Air Force Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla shared personal insights from his space mission under Axom-4. He explained that space travel demands immense mental and physical strength, and during moments of fear, he would recite the Hanuman Chalisa for courage. Shubhanshu also presented videos and a PPT to explain his mission, detailing his 18-day stay aboard the International Space Station, where he conducted research on plant growth and microgravity. Inspired by India’s first astronaut, Dr. Rakesh Sharma, he encouraged students to pursue their dreams fearlessly as India prepares to send its own space capsule under the Gaganyaan programme.
